The estate, named Quinta da Carvalhosa after the indication of bounds, is situated between Régua and Pinhão, in the heart of Douroregion. It exclusively consists of the so-called A- and B-Sites, the best out of the Portuguese system of classification. The vineyards of Quinta da Carvalhosa cover an expanse of 8ha of steep sites, which are planted with the local varieties of Tinta Barroca, Tinto Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, with an average age between 20 and 40 years.
