Ruby-red. Raspberry and cherry on the musky, slightly warm nose. Rich and deeply pitched, offering bitter cherry and licorice flavors and a touch of cracked pepper. On the aggressive side, with strong finishing punch and chewy tannins contributing serious back-end grip. I hope this wine is just in a surly mood right now.
