概要
It is the most emblematic wine of Herdade do Mouchão. It is designed based on the Alicante Bouschet grape variety, which is found in Herdade do Mouchão a terroir of choice and which gives it a unique character. The blending of this variety complemented with Trincadeira gives it a greater exoticism and elegance. After fermentation in stone presses, the wine ages for 24 months in 5000 litre Portuguese oak barrels, macacaúba, and mahogany, and then for a further 24 to 36 months in the bottle. Mouchão has a deep, concentrated colour, a spicy character and its unique tannic structure promotes long bottle ageing.
