Founded in 1962, Adega Cooperativa de Vermelha receives and vinified grapes corresponding to about 1109.49 ha, where the average area of the plots is 0,72ha. With the evolution of markets and new trends of consumers, ACV adopted the best and latest technologies in particular with regard to bottling, vinification and laboratory methods. In terms of bottling, there are two bottle filling lines with capacity of 6000 bottles/hour that allows to fill various types of bottles in different capacities. They also have two filling lines for bag in box, a different packaging concept with large deployment worldwide, and finally a wine bottling line barrel, a type of packing similar to that used in the brewing industry, a novel way with potential in certain markets. We have several brands on the market, but their reference is in fact the mark "MUNDUS", a leader in Portugal in respect of light wines exclusive from designation of Lisbon wines.
