Like an old portuguese saying: “A fish’s son knows how to swim." Thomas Haag, Fritz Haag’s son, had his father as mentor. A renowned Mosel producer Schloss Leiser, produced between 1910 and 1970 some of the greatest wines of the region. Unfortunately this producer didn’t survive due to the constant owners and philosophy changes. In 1992, Thomas became the winemaker and general manager of the company. Using all the knowledge, acquired mostly from his father (Fritz Haag); buying the company and vineyards was only a matter of time. Today, Schloss Lieser it’s again on the rails and already occupies the place were always belonged: a pride one. In recent years their wines have reached stratospheric scores of the big names of world criticism.
