Originating from clay-limestone soils, surrounded by a Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence, this Ninfa red wine is produced from the Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacional grape varieties. On the nose it reveals notes of fresh fruit and subtle floral notes, enveloping the tasting in a fine, juicy freshness.

João Teodósio Matos Barbosa, grandson of the founder of Caves Dom Teodósio, started his project in the production of wines, according to a regime of low intervention and organic production, with the introduction of new grape varieties and new blends.

Acquiring properties in the Tejo and Alto Alentejo regions, his legacy has been expanding with organic wines that are authentic and faithful to their terroir.
