Named after a hillside vineyard located on the northeast slope of Yerga Mountain in eastern Rioja, La Montesa is a blend of indigenous grape varieties growing on the Palacios Remondo estate.

Described by Luis Gutiérrez of Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate as an "elegant, streamlined wine that is savoury with great freshness", La Montesa has excellent balance and all the red fruit and orchard flavours you expect when drinking an exceptional Garnacha-based Mediterranean wine. La Montesa's multi-faceted flavour profile - includes ripe nectarines, pomegranates, oranges and fresh strawberries, infused with notes of sweet spice.
