The grapes that gave rise to this Late Harvest were harvested in early November. After aging 6 months in French oak barrels and 6 months in bottle, it presents itself with a charming golden colour, surprising with its greedy aromas, highlighting the notes of dried fruits, dates and sultanas, harmonized by honeyed hints. In the mouth, it appears unctuous, elegant and sweet, all in perfect balance with the freshness, always present, given by the unique terroir of Quinta do Gradil.

The Quinta do Gradil is referenced in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that vines and wine became part of the estate's economic activity. But it was in the 19th century that one of the most decisive moments happened, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited Quinta do Gradil from her father, turning it into a reference agricultural business, focusing on wine production. Several years have passed and Quinta do Gradil continues to be a Portuguese reference in the world, and is now led by Luís Vieira.
