2016 Borges Reserva Dão red
概要
Borges Reserva Dão is a red wine produced from Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro grape varieties. With a clear ruby colour, it presents a fresh and intense aroma with resinous notes and black fruit such as plum. The ageing in oak provides complexity to the wine with hints of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, it reveals great elegance and good acidity, with soft tannins that contribute to its remarkable structure and balance. It has a long and persistent finish, making it an excellent choice to be aged in the bottle and evolve.
Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, the Borges Wine Society quickly became one of the main national wine companies.
Recognizing that only through excellence can Portuguese wines assert themselves in the world, Borges has always invested in the quality of its production, now exported to more than fifty countries on all continents.
