Intense ruby in colour, Gambozinos red reveals a complex aroma with floral notes of roses, wild flowers, blackberries and cistus. On the palate, it is elegant and has a strong concentration of tannins, with intense fruit that persists until the finish.

Cabanas do Castanheiro is one of the new wine producers in the Douro region, which emerged as a project of the Paterno Dia family, based on the production of high quality wines. The 17-hectare estate includes plots such as Quinta dos Gambozinos with old vines, which produce wines of excellent quality, aromatic, concentrated and deep, vinified in schist lagares with foot treading and controlled temperatures, combining tradition with modernity.
