2017 Casisano Brunello di Montalcino red
概要
Casisano Brunello di Montalcino is distinguished by its elegance and deep ruby red colour. It has a good concentration on the mid-palate and a persistent finish, with a rounded, voluptuous body and silky tannins.
The Tommasi story begins in 1902 when Giacomo Tommasi decides to acquire a small plot of land in Valpolicella Classica, Veneto region. With commitment and hard work, the following generations could expand the business into five more different regions with the acquisition of seven properties, totalling around 570 hectares of vines.
The Casisano estate has been owned by the Tommasi family since 2015 and extends over 53 undulating hectares in the south-east of Montalcino. With a natural terrace rich in biodiversity, Casisano, lies 480 metres above sea level and its vineyards are divided into 10 distinct plots.
