2017 Château Nénin Pomerol red
概要
On the eve of the 1997 harvest year, Jean-Hubert Delon bought Château Nénin, which had belonged to his cousins, the Despujol family, since 1847. After purchase, a major restructuring was immediately undertaken.
Pruning and trellising methods were revised, the land was drained, the vines were replanted or uprooted, and the equipment modernised. The ageing and storage cellars were extended and completely refurbished, as was the fermentation room, which was modernly equipped, thus completing the estate's total transformation.
Composed of 58% Merlot and 42% Cabernet Franc, the 2017 Nénin is deep garnet in colour, bursting with lush notes of black cherries and plums in syrup, coupled with subtle aromas of liquorice, violets and melted chocolate. The palate is full bodied, fresh and velvety with a mineral finish.
