The Frederick Von S. Conde de Mértola Reserva red wine is made from the Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Aragonês grape varieties, which are very typical of the Alentejo region. After ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels, it has a concentrated ruby colour and intense aromas of ripe red fruit with hints of toast and vanilla from the barrels. On the palate it is elegant, well-balanced and has firm tannins, but they round out as you taste it. Finishes harmoniously.
