Quinta da Escusa Reserva is a red wine produced from the Castelão, Sousão and Tinta Miúda grape varieties. It has a deep and dark colour, with aromas of dark chocolate, light vegetal, some camphor, nuances of minerality and slight toast from the ageing wood. In the mouth, it is very well balanced with present acidity, and polished and elegant tannins. It ends with intensity and elegance.
The Quinta da Escusa extends over 10 hectares, which connects the rural villages of Quintas and Vale de Barco, in which the ancestors of the current owners were born.
