Considered the Higher Range of Quinta do Gradil, this wine is produced with the Semillion and Alvarinho grape varieties and aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. It presents a golden colour with greenish nuances, in the nose floral notes stand out, followed by apricot aromas and elegant toast wood. The Atlantic characteristics are felt in the minerality in the mouth.

The Quinta do Gradil is referenced in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that vines and wine became part of the estate's economic activity. But it was in the 19th century that one of the most decisive moments happened, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited Quinta do Gradil from her father, turning it into a reference agricultural business, focusing on wine production. Several years have passed and Quinta do Gradil continues to be a Portuguese reference in the world, and is now led by Luís Vieira.
