Quinta do Olival da Murta has, since its inception, a history of grape and wine production. With a climate influenced by the Atlantic and the proximity of the Serra de Montejunto, the Quinta is located in the Óbidos Subregion, one of the nine appellations of origin of the “Lisbon Wine Region”, which is characterized by aromatic red wines rich in tannins with a great aging capacity in the bottle, and a great diversity of fresh and balanced whites. Serra Oca wines are produced from Portuguese grape varieties, with a non-intensive viticulture and without the use of synthetic chemicals. The harvest is manual and the grapes are simply vinified, with naturally present yeasts, favoring time as a fundamental factor for the quality of the wines.
