Located in Alegrete, a rural parish in the municipality of Portalegre, its vineyards planted on schist soils, provide intense-coloured, balanced and smooth wines. Folha do Meio is a wine produced from grapes harvested through the traditional method, intensifying the selection of the bunches immediately in the vineyard. After long maceration and final fermentation, the wine is aged in barrels giving it nuances of vanilla and spicy notes.
