Medeiros Wines is the result of the passion and determination of its founder, António Agostinho Marques Figueira de Chaves, who swapped his Lisbon city life for the Alentejo plains.

By acquiring the property in the Moura region, the winery is rebuilt in a ruin almost 200 years old, which the architectural features have been maintained and which, today, is the birthplace of Medeiros wines.
