This wine is a limited production that brings together two excellent Dão grape varieties, Touriga Nacional and Jaen. After prolonged ageing in stainless steel vats, it presents a pronounced ruby colour, with predominant aromas of fresh red fruit, revealing on the palate soft tannins, excellent structure, and freshness. It finishes with strong typicality of the Dão region.

The Quinta do Carvalhão Torto is located in Nelas, the geographical centre of the Dão Demarcated Region, its history is indelibly linked to wine production, is owned by a family ancestrally linked to the precious nectar, heirs of this "know-how". Its 7-hectare vineyards, with an average age of 40 years, are planted at an average altitude of 450 metres on granite-quartz soils. The constant search for typicity, authenticity, and the sustainable maintenance of the vineyards make these wines as interesting as they are surprising.
