The Herdade dos Templários Grande Reserva red wine is produced from Touriga Nacional, Castelão, and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties, and has been aged in new French oak barrels for 24 months, followed by a minimum of 8 months in the bottle before release.
It presents itself as a powerful wine, with a garnet, an almost opaque colour, and a wild fruit aroma. On the palate, it is intense, yet the smooth-textured tannins bring elegance. A hint of dark chocolate sets the stage for a long and refined finish. This wine has undergone natural stabilization and may develop a sediment.
