2019 João Portugal Ramos Marquês de Borba Vinhas Velhas red
Produced from the Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, Castelão and Syrah grape varieties, from the oldest vineyards of the estate, it has an intense garnet colour, with a great concentration of black fruit aromas, eucalyptus leaf and some spicy notes, conferred by the ageing of 12 months in barrels. In the mouth it reveals velvety tannins and a long and persistent finish.
Creating a wine is an art that in Portugal we have been perfecting over centuries, today reinforced by greater knowledge and better means.
The experience acquired over time by João Portugal Ramos leads him to believe that a wine reflects the nature of the land that saw it born and is the expression of those who produce it. Knowledge, experience, and technology allow him to rigorously perfect the various factors that influence the personality of a wine.
