The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for over six hundredyears. Since then, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always managed this activity directly, making innovative and sometimes brave choices, but always maintaining an unchanged respect for tradition and territory.

La Braccesca extends over 508 hectares, where the ancient Bracci estate ruled, hence the name of the estate and its coat of arms: an arm covered in armour holding a sword. Since 1990 the estate has belonged to the Marchesi Antinori.
