The MARCO 3 red is obtained by the traditional Douro blend of the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca grape varieties, resulting in a wine with intense aromas of forest fruits, combined with notable wild floral on the nose. The slight spice brings envelopment and volume on the finish, making this wine so deserving of Excellence.
The MARCO 3 wines are produced by Héstia e Baco - Turismo e Viticultura, Lda., exclusively in the schist floor vineyards of the Quinta da Ferreira de Baixo, in Mesão Frio, on the Douro river, where Mark number 3 of the 1758 Pombaline trading post, which gives them their name, is located.
Estates wines, born in a unique terroir, are accompanied with the greatest care from the vine to the bottle, made by minimal intervention, which makes this wines excellents, with a very own identity and no artifice, with total respect for the land and its people, reconciled with their origin and nature.
