Red wine produced from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousão and some old vine varieties. After 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels, it presents with intense aromas of blackberries, dark chocolate and warm spices. In the mouth, it is quite solid with persistent but round tannins, finishing long and engaging.

After making seven vintages as an onelogist at Real companhia velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to start an individual project where he could apply his ideas and where he could control the entire production process. Basically, a wine that would reflect his interpretation of the Douro.

Inspired by this desire, in 2001, on acquiring 9 hectares of vineyard, he started his personal project, with a location at Quinta do Poeira, in Provesende, along a hillside in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name.
