Quinta da Folgosa Velha red wine, is produced from Douro grape varieties in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. After aging partially, about 12 months in French oak barrels, presents an excellent concentration of colour, with very present and silky tannins. The fruity aromas, combine perfectly with the spicy ones, making the wine balanced and with the appropriate structure for everyday meals.

Sociedade Agrícola da Quinta da Folgosa Velha is a family company, belonging to the Figueiredo family that, in its property with about 16 hectares, located in Folgosa do Douro, produces Douro wine from its vineyards, where part is old vines with about 45 years old. The wines of Quinta da Folgosa Velha are produced from carefully selected grapes and fermented in granite presses, transmitting in tasting the traditional profile of the Douro wines.
