2019 Quinta do Boição Trilogia de Arintos Edição Pelicular white

The Arinto Trilogy is a new range exclusive to Quinta do Boição. Arinto Pelicular was the first to be launched and is a true gem of oenology, bringing with it an innovative and exciting approach.

Moulded by the Bucelas terroir, the Arinto variety expresses itself in this wine in a complex and elegant way. After 6 months in French oak barrels, it reveals an intense golden colour that is almost amber and an intense aroma of country flowers and dried fruit, with notes of camomile standing out. On the palate, it combines unctuousness with minerality and the natural acidity of Arinto, emphasising the notes of linden tea.

Quinta do Boição is located in Bucelas, next to the Ribeira do Boição, and is part of the famous Bucelas Demarcated Region, between the banks of the Ribeira do Boição and the River Trancão, with a total area of 45 hectares, of which 32.5 are dedicated to vineyards. Determined to follow a policy of quality in the wines produced, Caves Velhas, which would later become part of the Enoport Wines Group, decided to acquire Quinta do Boição in May 1983, whose owners had always sold their production to them.
