A balanced and elegant wine, sustained by acidity and with a certain complexity. Fruity and floral elegance and subtlety blend with earthy notes, heather, aromatic herbs and blueberries. The well-polished tannins and freshness are present throughout the tasting, ending in a very long and classy finish.

After making seven vintages as a winemaker at Real Companhia Velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to start an individual project where he could apply his ideas and where he could control the entire production process. Without concessions, a wine that would reflect his interpretation of the Douro. In 2001, he started the Poeira project situated in Provesende, along a hillside in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name.
