Casa de Cello is a family business that has been dedicated to the viticultural exploitation of its estates for 4 generations. It was in the 80's, that one of the owners, João Pedro Araújo, started the professionalization of Casa de Cello's activity, reorganizing the existing structure in order to implement the best viticultural and oenological technologies, so as to express Casa de Cello's terroirs.

Located in the heart of Douro and Minho, near Amarante, it has undergone a complete restructuring of its vineyards. Currently, Quinta de Sanjoanne has 14 hectares of vines with the Arinto, Alvarinho, Malvazia Fina, Loureiro, Avesso andTrajadura varieties, giving rise to wines that perfectly express the terroirs of the Vinhos Verdes region.
