Produced and bottled on the estate, the Vinho Verde "Solar das Bouças" uses exclusively grapes produced on the property. Of the 34 hectares of the property, 24 hectares are planted with vines and the Loureiro variety has the largest share: 20 hectares. The remaining 4 hectares are divided between the Alvarinho variety, 2.5 hectares planted at the entrance of the farm, and the Arinto variety, better known in the region as Pedernã. As far as the type of plantation used on the farm, two driving systems coexist: the unilateral cordon and the trellis or branched plantation, used mainly on unproductive areas of the property (such as roads and paths). Thus is born, by the hands of Álvaro Van Zeller, a fresh wine of light and harmonious characteristics, fruity and of undeniable excellence.
