Vale da Pia red wine is obtained from the Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grape varieties, harvested manually and fermented in stainless steel tanks. It has a bright ruby colour, with concentrated aromas of red berries and wild berries. In the mouth, it is round and harmonious.

The Quinta do Reguengo is located in the sub-region of the Upper Douro near the Douro River at Pocinho, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, characterised by clay-oxystic soils where granite outcrops can be found. This type of soil, combined with different altitudes, exposures and grape varieties, is influenced by the hot, humid winds from the Douro River valley and the cooler winds from Spain, creating excellent conditions for the regular ripening of the grapes. Oenology is the responsibility of Pedro Branco, who is also the protagonist of the Família Silva Branco wines.
