2021 Al-Mudd Blanc de Noir white
概要
Al-Mudd white is a blanc de noir wine, meaning it's produced from the red Negra-Mole grapes, and it boasts a clear citrus colour with hints of white fruit and some vegetal notes on the nose, adding complexity. In the mouth, it reveals a balanced, lively, and mineral character.
Negra-Mole is an emblematic grape variety synonymous with the Algarve wine region.
Considered the second oldest grape variety in Portugal, it is disease-resistant and well adapted to the terroir. Although it was on the brink of extinction, the current trend is favorable for replanting the Negra-Mole grape, as it holds untapped potential.
Being native to the Algarve region, it carries history and tradition, becoming an element of value for Algarve wines.
Sul Composto is a family project born in the Algarve wine region with the aim of promoting the differentiation of the region's wines.
