Exclusively produced from the Vital grape variety, Monte Bluna has a straw yellow colour, with aromas of white-fleshed fruit, delicate floral notes and herbal hints. The wood is well integrated and provides dried fruits and brioche, combined with a mineral profile. In the mouth, it is elegant, exquisite in the balance between the generosity of the body, full of substance and vibrant freshness. The finish is admirable in its length and involvement.
Monte Bluna starts its journey in the wine sector, from the Lisbon region when it acquires a small plot of vines about 40 years old. The 6 hectares at altitude, flanked by the Atlantic and the Tagus, are now exploited to create wines that express a unique and harmonious character, in total balance with the environment.
