This is a wine of aromas focused on the variety that originates it. In distant times, in a place called Canhotos, in the parish of Penso, a house was built which, for years, was the only one existing in this place and which the population of the parish would come to patronise as ''Casa de Canhotos''. With the ideal microclimate and location, the adjacent cultivated land became beautiful vineyards of the Alvarinho variety. It is then, that in August 2006, the producer Fernando Rodrigues, decides to move forward with the production itself, resulting in the brand "Casa de Canhotos Alvarinho". The wines produced here are exclusively from own production grapes, subject to rigorous selection criteria that aim to ensure a high-quality product.
