Curral Teles Epsilon red is made from Tinto Cão and Tinta da Barca, two lesser-known Douro varieties. Fermented in concrete and aged in used French oak casks, it offers an elegant and balanced interpretation of the region.

It displays a light red colour and an expressive nose of cherry, sloe and spices such as cinnamon and anise. On the palate, it is fluid and elegant, with surprisingly structured tannins and good ageing potential.

Curral Teles wines are produced in small quantities and reflect an experimental approach to winemaking in the Douro. They result from cellar trials exploring different methods and interpretations, and are therefore not produced every year.

Each wine is named after a letter of the Greek alphabet, paying tribute to the experiments carried out in ancient Greek academies. A collection that celebrates curiosity, precision and the continuous search for new expressions of terroir.
