Monteirinhos Avó Fernanda Reserva is a fresh wine produced from the main white grape varieties of the Dão region, with hints of vanilla and freshly picked fruit.

Its name pays tribute to the strong matriarchal presence of Grandmother Fernanda, the wife of Grandfather António, the founder of the Monteiro Albuquerque family business, who firmly held onto her husband's legacy.

The Monteiro Albuquerque family has been producing wines for over 100 years and 7 generations. In 2006, the 5th generation of the Monteirinhos decided to launch their own producer-bottler project with their own brand, involving the restructuring and organization of the vineyards and the construction of a new and modern winery. The first wine was released in the market in 2013, the Quinta dos Monteirinhos – Tinto 2010, followed by the first Encruzado in 2014. This is an agricultural project that seeks, on one hand, to honor the history of a farming family from Beira Alta and, at the same time, to promote the excellence and elegance of Dão wines.
