The Altas Quintas red shows an intense ruby colour and a complex aromatic profile, with notes of wild berries, black plum, dark chocolate, and subtle balsamic and smoky nuances. Sourced from granitic soils in the Serra de São Mamede, it reveals a marked freshness on the palate, with firm yet polished tannins, leading to a long, intense and characterful finish.

The Altas Quintas project was born from the desire to make wines with different characteristics in the Alentejo for demanding connoisseurs. The difference of its wines begins in the location of the vines that give rise to them, planted on a plateau at an altitude of 600 metres, in the heart of the Alentejo. Allied to the terroir is also the strongest characteristic of this project: the obsession for difference, always pushing to obtain the maximum quality in the raw material that produces these Alentejo wines.
