Borges Quinta de São Simão da Aguieira is a red wine made from the Jaen, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz grape varieties. It has a deep, clear ruby colour. The aroma is very intense and fresh, with pronounced notes of orange blossom and bergamot, interspersed with hints of vanilla, spices and caramel. On the palate, it is smooth, velvety and full-bodied, with soft tannins that lend structure, leading to a long, vibrant finish characterised by good acidity.

Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, the Borges Wine Society quickly became one of the main national wine companies.
