2023 Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva red
概要
This historic wine from the Antinori family is produced predominantly from Sangiovese, complemented by a small percentage of other varieties. It shows an intense ruby colour and an expressive aroma, marked by red fruits, with notes of black cherry and delicate floral nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-balanced, with smooth tannins and a long, elegant and persistent finish.
The Antinori family has been dedicated to winemaking for over six centuries. In 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri. Throughout 26 generations, the family has maintained direct management of the business, combining innovative — and at times bold — decisions with an unwavering respect for tradition and terroir.
Tenuta Tignanello is located in the heart of Chianti Classico, in the hills between the Greve and Pesa valleys, covering a total area of 319 hectares, of which around 130 hectares are under vine. Among these are two iconic vineyards: Tignanello and Solaia, situated on the same hillside, with soils of marine origin from the Pliocene, rich in limestone and schist. These conditions give rise to wines of distinctive character, which played a key role in the renaissance of Italian wine.
