2023 Página Sauvignon Blanc white

White wine is produced by Sauvignon Blanc grape variety, from the vineyard with 1.3 hectares of Óbidos denomination of origin, and in its production placed special emphasis on environmental and health issues, and the grapes that originate it, come from vineyards certified by the Integrated Production standards, constituting a selected and concentrated lot. It has a citrus colour, and tropical fruit aromas with vegetable nuances reminiscent of green asparagus, combined with soft woody nuances. Its freshness is marked by the liveliness of its structure, with a long and persistent finish.

The Quinta do Porto Nogueira was founded in 1738, in the first half of the 18th century, and was always owned by the same family until the second half of the 20th century. The current owners acquired it at the beginning of the 21st century. The estate's 20 hectares of vineyards are planted in clay soils, marked by the influence of the natural microclimate of the foothills of the Sierra de Todo-o-Mundo and by the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, about 20 km away. A vineyard without irrigation gathers unique characteristics, and an unequalled freshness and is the bearer of a natural salinity. Thus, the wines are marked by their singularity.
