2024 Esporão Trincadeira organic red

Esporão Trincadeira 2024 is a red wine made from one of the Alentejo’s emblematic grape varieties, sourced from Vinha do Telheiro, planted in 1974 and certified organic.

Pale ruby in colour, it displays an elegant nose of black stone fruit complemented by herbal notes of tomato leaf, characteristic of the variety. Fresh and balanced on the palate, it shows soft, well-integrated tannins and a long, vibrant and persistent finish, following 10 months of ageing in used French oak vats and concrete tanks.

The Esporão company was born in the Alentejo from the unconditional will to make the best wines. This motivation is the legacy of all their wines produced and the main reason they have extended the range to other products and territories.

Herdade do Esporão, located in the heart of the Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, has unique conditions for agriculture - large temperature ranges, poor and varied soils and an extraordinary biodiversity that helps to produce in balance with the environment. With about 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and other crops enhanced by the Organic Production Mode, it currently includes about 40 grape varieties, 4 varieties of olives, orchards and vegetable gardens.
