2024 Sparkling Wine Canhotos Sublime Alvarinho Brut

The Canhotos Sublime Alvarinho Brut Sparkling Wine is made exclusively from the Alvarinho grape, showcasing the full freshness and varietal character of this renowned variety. It displays a pale yellow colour with a fine, persistent and elegant bubble. The nose reveals the citrus fruit typical of Alvarinho, accompanied by subtle toasted nuances and a light touch of dried fruits. On the palate, it is fresh and appealing, with excellent balance, good persistence and a complexity that carries through to the finish.

In the distant past, in the place of Canhotos, in the parish of Penso, a house was built which became known locally as the “Casa de Canhotos”. With a favourable microclimate and ideal location, the surrounding land was transformed into beautiful Alvarinho vineyards, and in August 2006 producer Fernando Rodrigues decided to embark on his own production, giving rise to the brand “Casa de Canhotos Alvarinho”.

All wines produced here are made exclusively from grapes grown in the estate’s own vineyards, following strict selection criteria to ensure the highest quality.
