Quinta do Ameal is a small, very old estate dating back to 1710, renowned for its rare natural beauty. Of its 30 hectares, 14 are planted with Loureiro vines. Here, excellent white wines are crafted from the Portuguese Loureiro grape variety, which reaches its fullest aromatic and flavour expression in the fantastic Lima Valley, where Quinta do Ameal is located.
Esporão was born in the Alentejo region from an unwavering desire to produce the finest wines. This motivation is the legacy behind all its wines and the primary reason for expanding the range to include other products and regions.
