The Wine Spirit Frade Envelhecida is a product of excellence from the Adega Cooperativa de Alcobaça. Produced from selected wines from the region, it is aged in oak casks for a long period of time, which gives it a complex aroma and intense taste.

Dark topaz in colour, with yellowish tones, Wine Spirit Frade Envelhecida has a very fine, vinous aroma, with notes of dried fruit, vanilla and spices. The palate is very concentrated, with great intensity and a spirity finish.

The Adega Cooperativa de Alcobaça is a wine company founded in 1956 by a group of small and medium-sized winegrowers from the region. Its creation was motivated by the need to create a structure that would allow producers to sell their wine at a fairer price.

The Adega started out with 3,000 members, but the number gradually decreased as people left the vineyard. Today, the winery has 382 members and produces a wide variety of wines, including reds, whites, rosés, sparkling and liqueur wines. Its wines are sold throughout the country and also exported to various countries.
