Aperitif Cocchi Americano 75cl
概要
Cocchi Americano is an aperitif that brings together the best of wine and spirits. It is produced from white wine aromatised with a small amount of bittered alcohol through the infusion of precious herbs and spices, including gentian flowers and leaves, artemisia, cinchona, bitter orange peel, elderflower and more. The white wine is flavoured through a cold infusion in alcohol and then refined to balance the aromas and flavours of the spices, resulting in a harmonious, fresh and sophisticated aperitif.
Cocchi Americano is an aromatised wine created in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi and has been produced continuously since then according to the original recipe. The name “Americano” refers both to the bittered alcohol flavoured with herbs and spices and to the American habit of drinking vermouth with ice and soda.
Produced in Asti according to Giulio Cocchi’s historic recipe, it is recognised as the aperitif par excellence, a true icon of the city. Its label features the original 1930s futurist rooster, symbolising its appetite-stimulating effect and forming part of Asti’s cultural heritage.
