Armagnac Saint-Vivant boasts a rich heritage dating back to 1559, when Saint-Vivant de la Salle crafted his first bottle. The iconic “twisted” bottle pays tribute to the original vessels used by Saint-Vivant himself. The Saint-Vivant house exclusively selects wines from the Gascony region, which are distilled in traditional copper stills. The resulting spirit is then aged in oak casks, where it develops its depth and character. Finally, the cellar master undertakes the intricate process of blending the aged eaux-de-vie to create the final batch, an expression that has earned Saint-Vivant its reputation as one of the world’s most esteemed Armagnacs.
