This Porto Dalva 50 Years reflects the experience and historical heritage of the C. da Silva house. It is a wine of remarkable complexity and refinement, with a dark golden colour. On the nose, it reveals notes of crystallised citrus fruits, curry, dried herbs, toasted almonds and a slight hint of iodine. On the palate, it is pleasantly sweet and balanced by a rich acidity, with a touch of caramel and a spicy sensation. The finish is long and unctuous, with spices and dried fruits coming to the fore.
