The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard and are crushed by foot treading in Lagares. After a few days of treading, the wine begins fermentation naturally, continuing with regular treading. Fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy, also made with grape berry wine. It ages in old barrels for 2 years and after bottling it can age for at least 15 years. This is a slightly sweet and fragrant wine, with a delicious blend of fruit, blackberry, currant, cherry and plum, tobacco, and spice.
