The Knut Hansen Yorokobi Edition is a tribute to the culture and nature of Japan. The name ‘Yorokobi’, which means joy, reflects the purpose of this special edition.
This gin combines extraordinary botanicals characteristic of Japan: sakura, umeboshi, wasabi, goya cucumber and matcha tea. In addition, it is distinguished by the use of base alcohol made from rice instead of the traditional wheat alcohol, giving the distillate a unique depth. Each botanical has been macerated and distilled separately to enhance its aromas.
The bottle's design, created by David Stiller, features shisa lions, torii gates and rice terraces, symbolising protection, luck and Japan's cultural richness.
