Produced by one of the oldest bottlers of single-malt Scotch in Aberdeen in 1872, Initially they began in the drinks business as importers, bottlers and wholesalers of Scotch Malt Whisky, Cadenheads Old Raj is a complex gin, infused with saffron. Old Raj is lovely and complex, offers aromas of coriander, juniper, anise, orris root, ground pepper, lemon peel, lead pencil, earth and tree bark. Palate entry is creamy, fruity, spicy and minty; midpalate offers layers of botanical complexity over the core juniper taste. Finishes with a wonderful rush of mint and baking spice. Fabulous.
