This gin is created as a form of challenge to António Cuco, who set out to remake the original Sharish recipe created in 2014, with the knowledge acquired over 7 years.
Thus comes the Sharish Distiller's Cut, where the original botanicals were kept, however, the orange and lemon were replaced by Tangerine, Bergamot and Kaffir Lime. Also, other flavours and aromas favoured by António Cuco were added, such as Citron, Cardamom and Orange Blossom.
The result was an extraordinarily classic gin with greater dryness and complexity.
Sharish Gin is founded in the year 2014, in Reguengos de Monsaraz and is the direct translation of the inspirations of the recipes that recover the smells that surrounded the childhood of António Cuco, the founder.
With an immense desire to bring to life a project he has always had a lot of love for, António Cuco creates the first Gin Interpretation Centre on the Iberian Peninsula, oding to the philosophy "Slowly distilled in Alentejo". Today, the premium brand is constantly innovating its products and expanding in the market.
